Niederlande legt eigenes „Industrie 4.0“-Programm auf

Smart Industry – Dutch Industry fit for the future

The fourth industrial revolution is a fact. New production technologies and further integration of ICT in the whole process of designing, manufacturing and distributing is changing the industry radically. Partly due to the strong position of the Netherlands in design, system design and logistics this development offers many opportunities for the industry.

Following the German program ‚ Industry 4.0‘ , there is now the Dutch initiative ‚Smart Industry – Industry News fit for the future‘. FME – president Ineke Dezentjé Hamming presented the agenda on behalf of the participants to Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Johanna Wanka, the German Minister of Education and Science at the Hannover Messe . Worldwide the Hannover Messe is recognized as the stock market for the technology industry. Prime Minister Rutte is visiting the exhibition because the Netherlands is partner country this year. The Netherlands have a very strong manufacturing base. It is important to strengthen this base by responding to the technological developments of tomorrow.
